There was a lot of interest in the potential impact of analytics on sales productivity. My presentation focused on how uncertainty about customer demand negatively impacts sales performance. In particular, the presentation focused on why knowing the demand profile of customers is critical to identifying and qualifying revenue opportunities. At the conference, there was a lot of discussion about the economy and its effect on new customer acquisition and existing customer churn. Scout Analytics SU5 is Live

Posted by: Development Team Scout Analytics Service Update 5 (SU5) went live on September 10. SU5 enhances the data collector with the following capabilities. Remediation Manager Remediation Manager provides an automated workflow to assist in decreasing unlicensed use on your service. Within the Remediation Manager setup, the account sharing criteria is entered that will determine which accounts will enter remediation. The criteria values are based on the number of patterns, pervasiveness and frequency that sharing has been detected on the account. The remediation steps are configurable and can include an alert to the user while logging on, email notices, password changes, enabling strong authentication and locking the account.
